‘The Ship Song’ has been recorded by a range of famous people, including Paul Kelly, Martha Wainwright and Kev Carmody, as a tribute to The Sydney Opera House. A video clip was recorded in the basement and steps of the building. It is pretty nice. Soucre: NME.

Nick Cave is helping to prevent the closure of Kensal Rise Library in London by contributing the hand-written lyrics to ‘Where the Wild Roses Grow’ to a fundraising drive. Other artists involved include The Pet Shop Boys, Goldfrapp and Depeche Mode. You can bid here. There are just under 5 days to go and it’s currently selling at 99.99 UK pounds.
